Our Story
It all started a long time ago, back in 1950’s when a grocery / deli / dairy store was opened under the name Ziggy’s Harbor Dairy. A decade later the name was changed to Harbor Deli, and this was the name that it kept when. In June, 1997 after spending his whole working life in the food/retail, customer service business, Harry DeFeo, his lovely wife Diane and children purchased it and decided to make it a place where all the families from the neighborhood would be able to meet and talk and laugh and make it the best deli Port Washington had ever seen.
